Grinder starts by cutting lines in the granite with a diamond blade.
I have found the cheapie blades from Menards work great and take huge amounts of abuse. I did not use water when cutting and they still really last awhile.
Chisel and hammer is next .
My ears are still ringing. I used an eye visor and dust mask but next time will wear ear protection.
Smooth the high spots using the edge of the grinder blade.
So far so good.
